Regarding the comments by Thoa concerning Buddha and suffering I once read
this quote (or perhaps only a paraphrasing of it??) by an Indian mystic,
Nisargadatta Maharaj:
The cause of all suffering is the failure to have that
which you desire.
Therefore, desire nothing ... for that you may surely
have.
